The Victoria Park is a public park located in NuwaraEliya, Originally the park was the research field of Hakgala Botanical Garden. The park was formally named in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Gregory Lake was buildunder the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873. This is the most prominent attraction in NuwaraEliya and all the vistors used to come here and spent some time by the lake and relax.
